Flexiload Commission Rates in Bangladesh: What You Really Earn

Flexiload Commission Rates in Bangladesh

Ask ten flexiload sellers what commission they get and you will hear ten numbers. They are all telling the truth. Commission depends on your level, your operator, and whether you are talking about recharge or deposit. This explains all three.

Two different commissions

People confuse these constantly, and the confusion costs money.

Deposit commission

When you add money to your own balance, you receive slightly more than you paid. Put in ৳1,000 at a 1.5% rate and ৳1,015 arrives. This is set by your level and applies the moment the deposit clears.

Recharge commission

When you sell airtime, you are charged slightly less than the face value. Send ৳100 and perhaps ৳98.50 leaves your balance. This is set by your rate card, which your upline controls per operator.

Both land in your pocket. They are configured separately, which is why moving up a level can raise one without touching the other.

Typical level ladder

LevelDeposit commissionAdd ৳1,000, receive
Retailer1.1%৳1,011
Dealer1.4%৳1,014
DGM1.5%৳1,015
House1.6%৳1,016
VIP1.8%৳1,018

The gap looks small. On ৳300,000 of monthly deposits, the difference between Retailer and VIP is ৳2,100 a month — roughly ৳25,000 a year for a one-off upgrade fee.

Working out what you actually make

Take a month where you sold ৳200,000 of airtime:

  • Recharge margin at 1.5%: ৳3,000
  • Deposit commission at 1.4% on ৳200,000 of top-ups: ৳2,800
  • Total: ৳5,800, an effective 2.9%

Most sellers only count the first line and conclude the business is worse than it is.

Why the shop next door earns more

  • They are on a higher level. The most common reason and the easiest to fix.
  • Their upline set better rates. Rate cards are per-reseller and negotiable.
  • They sell more of the profitable lines. Drive and internet packs usually carry a wider margin than plain airtime.
  • They buy balance in bigger blocks. Fewer, larger deposits mean fewer rounding losses.

Three ways to raise your rate

Upgrade your level

A one-off fee against a permanent increase. Work out the payback: if the upgrade costs ৳500 and raises your deposit commission by 0.3%, you break even at ৳167,000 of deposits. Most active shops clear that in under two months.

Ask your upline

Rate cards are set per reseller and can be changed. If your volume has grown, say so. The worst answer is no.

Shift your mix

Internet and drive packs typically pay better than plain airtime. Customers buying data are usually less price-sensitive too.

What to watch out for

Be sceptical of anyone advertising commission far above the ladder above. Sustained rates of 5% or more usually mean one of three things: a minimum volume you will not hit, a delay before balance lands, or a business that will not be there in six months. On a product with this little margin, unusually generous terms are worth a hard look.
